Designer Profile

Stefano Giovannoni is one of the more experimental designers in Milan. Florence being the birthplace of radical design, he was influenced by this movement when he studied and worked there. With Giudo Venturini, he co-founded King Kong that designed a family of products using iconic figures which allowed them to collaborate with Alessi. His contribution within the company changed the Alessi image by creating other iconic products inspired by cartoons, science fiction and imagination. He has since collaborated with other companies such as Flos, Capellini and Seiko USA and has been awarded with several international design prizes.
