Cesare Mazzetti is a third generation coppersmith from the Tuscan town of Montepulciano. His father taught him the art of the coppersmith while he was growing up and Mazzetti was eventually able to open up his own shop after WWII where he worked with tin and copper for some time. As his shop became more popular, and, by the request of his father, Cesare separated himself from his growing company to pursue his love of copper and continued to make the quality pieces his father had made before him. Cesare now lives in Montepulciano where he teaches the next generation of Mazzetti the delicate art he has given his life to.
