Ben: Do you see that the idea of technology being a sustainable idea for design?

I think more and more, technology will be necessary. The only thing that is important is to not make the mistake of thinking that technology is the solution. Technology is not the solution. Technology is just a better tool to show ideas. Because with technology you can realize any kind of shape at the prototyping stage; manufacturing is still one step behind. But more and more technology will be important in each step of the production (pre-production, and production process). It is important to not make the mistake that technology is the solution, because designers now think that if they draw something in 3D modeling, for sure it will be a hit product that we sell. It’s not true. You must have an idea. So technology is a tool to allow you to show, communicate better, your idea.
