WHAT I LEARNED

I learnt how to travel and really get to know a country, something I can take with me always. I learnt about culture. I learnt about the different approaches to design straight from Italian Design Maestros!

WOULD I RECOMMEND THIS PROGRAM?

Yes I would. I learnt so much about culture and the country. But more then that I felt traveling in a group of people like this really helped me grow as a person. I learnt more about myself then I ever imagined.

FAVOURITE MOMENTS

• Taking the ferry to Amalfi watching the cost line change
• The huge storm in Rome that seemed almost unnatural and just drenched the campsite.
• Riding my bike down from San Miniato at night feeling the warm breeze and listening to my music.
• Any and all the World Cup games I went to!

I had just finished my third year in the SIAT Interaction Design stream when I went on this trip.

I would like to work in a creative environment collaborating with others to craft interesting or useful creations. I love architecture, industrial design, interaction design, visual design, and experience design as long as I am doing something related to these fields I will be happy.

PERSONAL BACKGROUND

I am a 21 year old student born on Vancouver Island who loves design, art and photography. I love making things
