Population Density

     The cost of food can be minimized if producers were located closer to population densities than farther away.  Population densities were available in the original dataset, and were categorized by density.  I created a fuzzy image to show decreasing suitability from highest densities

Methodology

• I reprojected "popdens" to a more suitable projection and called it "popdens2".
• I then used the FUZZY module (J-shaped increasing) on "popdens2".  The resulting image was called "popdens2fuzz".
