Methodology Step 2:

Step 2:

After the initial maps were created, they had to be converted to ASCII text, and then imported into the Idrisi program to be implemented into a multi-criteria analysis(MCE).

In order to be used in the MCE, all values had to be in Integer Binary form. So a conversion was performed in Idrisi to make sure that all three layers were in the right form. On top of this, I reclassed each of the layers, so that only values that were considered higher risk were included in the MCE. It is important to note that the Water Temperature reclass actually involved reversing the values, so that cells of value 0 were changed to value 11 and cells of value 11 were changed to a value of 0. This was so that when all the layers were combined in the MCE, that colder water recieved a higher value of risk.
