Data Preparation:

To start the analysis, points on the water needed to be located, plotted, and assigned attributes that would correspond with the factors in question. I located 10 NOAA weather bouys. Latitude and Longitude coordinates for the bouys were provided, with which I created an excel database linking each bouy with a specific identifier and location. Following this the wind, water temperature, and wave height data was added to the excel table for each of the bouys. In the analysis, monthly averages as well as yearly averages were entered to add to the depth of the analysis.
