You are about to embark on the journey of a lifetime! The transition
to university is filled with challenges and excitement. It is
a time to discover just who you really are - to make new friends,
to study new subjects, and to try out new interests and talents.
This
website is meant to aid you in your transition. Located here
are resources relating to SFU's new student orientation
and related events. You will also find more general resources

the Student Development and Programming Centre's main hompage,

is full. But all is not lost! Click

Here is some general information you should know about orientation:
- Campus Orientation is a TWO-DAY program on August
28th and 29th. It is
expected that you will go for both days. Orientation begins at 9:00 on Thursday,
August 28th 2003 in the convocation mall. On Friday, August 29th, please
be at SFU at 10:00. We will end the day around 4:00.
- If you indicated that you have graduated more than 10 years ago on your
registration form, you are registered for Mature Student Orientation on Friday
August 29th. This day begins around 10:00 and ends around 4:00. Please meet
in the convocation mall.
- Residence Orientation starts on August 27th students registered for
orientation have an early move in date.
