Required reading: A Concise Introduction to Marsilius of Padua
Essay assignment: Explain how Marsilius's writings epitomize or foreshadow a crucial renaissance trend or phenomenon. Argue for or against Marsilius's position on your chosen topic. Assess the applicability of your argument to religion and politics today. (due date is Nov 30 @ 5:30 p.m.)

Our historical simulation uses Diplomacy Rules but amends them according to Dr. Morrissey's "Defender of the Peace" Diplomacy Variant.
