Simon Fraser Track and Field Opens Outdoor Season with Strong Performances at Home Meets

The Simon Fraser University Track and Field team launched its 2025 outdoor campaign with a series of commendable performances across three meets in March and April. The Red Leafs hosted the Emilie Mondor Invitational on March 22 and the SFU High Performance Meet on April 5 at Terry Fox Field in Burnaby, British Columbia, while also competing at the UBC Open on March 29-30. Despite early challenges from inclement weather, the athletes demonstrated resilience and skill, setting an encouraging tone for the season ahead as conditions improved.

SFU Track and Field Compete in Prestigious Stanford Invitational and Brutus Hamilton Meets

The Simon Fraser University Track and Field team continued its 2025 outdoor season with strong showings at two prestigious meets over the April 4-5 weekend. A contingent of Red Leafs traveled south to compete at the Stanford Invitational in Palo Alto and at the Brutus Hamilton Invitational in Berkeley, California. Both meets highlighted the team's depth and talent, with athletes posting competitive marks against top-tier competition.
