'TWAS THE YEAR 1998 AT DhRl 16.....
THE SITE
As an archaeological detective, I'm sure that you can now
imagine what the site was like at the beginning of this season..
GREEN!
WHAT DO WE ALREADY KNOW?
Phew.. this part could be really long if I listed everything
that we now about the site now. Instead, I will leave it to
you, as the archaeological detective, to remember some of the
things that we know.
Can you think of three things off the top of your head? Good!
If you can't, you might want to go and look for some clues.
Hint:
you could find these clues in the "What did we find?" sections of past year's pages.
WHAT DO WE WANT WANT TO KNOW?
This year we continued along the lines of last year's research goals.
We want to know more about the houses and their relationship to the
mounds.  We also want to find out how the people at DhRl 16 used
and thought about their environment (the land all around them).
